Tarot Des Ambiguïtés Deck

Tarot Des Ambiguïtés Deck
A Reimagined Marseille Classic
The Tarot des Ambiguïtés is not merely another Tarot de Marseille reproduction—it's a thoughtful reimagining that honors tradition while breathing new life into centuries-old symbolism. Hand-drawn by Alejandro R Rozan, this deck emerges from years of meticulous study of historical Marseille patterns, creating something both familiar and refreshingly original.
Artisanal Craftsmanship Meets Modern Precision
Each card has been painstakingly crafted using traditional techniques reimagined for the modern era. Alejandro used a fountain pen to recreate the distinctive woodcut feel of classic decks, then digitally applied colors sampled from vintage Marseille tarots to simulate traditional stencil coloring. The deliberate inconsistencies in linework and coloration aren't flaws—they're carefully preserved characteristics that give this deck its authentic vintage essence.
A Unique Narrative Within Tradition
While maintaining the proportions and measurements of the celebrated Nicolas Conver Tarot, the Tarot des Ambiguïtés incorporates subtle influences from other historical decks including Jean Noblet, Jean Dodal, Pierre Madenié, and the distinctive Jacques Vièville Tarot. These elements combine to create not a patchwork of borrowed imagery, but an original narrative that respects the inherent story of each card while offering radical new interpretative possibilities.
